Tom Gray was a Justice of the Supreme Court of South Australia between 2000 and 2016. He sat at first instance and on appeal on both civil and criminal matters, including in the Environmental Land and Valuation Division and Probate list.
Tom Gray was admitted in 1969. He initially practised as a solicitor in the areas of common law and crime. In 1981 he joined the independent bar, taking silk in 1984. At the bar, he primarily appeared in large commercial disputes. He also had a broad appellate practice which included a range of civil and criminal matters.
